Students will learn various key grammatical structures, practice their listening skills at the small dialogue level, and learn several important reading strategies in a communicative setting, all of which will provide them with the tools to be more efficient TOEFL Test takers. |

Aims / Objectives of the Course:
At the end of this course the students will be able to

Practice their listening skills through dialogues which involve sound confusion, homonyms, idioms, inference questions, agreement, disagreement, plans, topics, problems, and special verbs. |

Learn various key grammatical structures, such as word forms, word choice, verbs, participles. gerunds, infinitives, simple forms, pronouns, singular and plural nouns, preporitions, articles, and word order. |

Learn various important reading strategies, such as overview, detail, negative, scanning, inference, and purpose strategies. |
Target students & Course Admission requirements
This level is suitable for students who have gone through advanced-level English language learning and are preparing to take the TOEFL test.
Course Outline:
This class prepares students to take the TOEFL test through practice tests, testing strategies, and review of content. Students are presented with materials and expected to analyse and manipulate exercises that their language competency in the American idiom increase. Class includes aural, oral, and written work. Knowleadge of vocabulary and meaning through word association are developed. Testing will be done throughout the duration.
