Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination / GCE 'O' Level Examination
'O' Level examination is national examination conducted by the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board in collaboration with the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicates. The 'O' Level certificate is an International recognized qualifications to apply for further studies commonwealth countries or the U.S. This examination is a pre-requisites for application into the local Polytechnics or Junior Colleges in Singapore. Student with the 'O' Level certificate may choose the following options to pursue further studies locally:
Direct entry to any of the 5 Government Polytechnics (Singapore, Nanyang, Ngee Ann, Temasek, Republic Polytechnics). Upon graduation one is eligible to pursue further studies leading to the award of a Bachelor’s Degree. Moreover, graduates may seek employment in Singapore. After working for 3 years they may apply for Permanent Residence in Singapore.
Pursue study in any of the local Junior Colleges (2 years), namely the “A” Level Course (equivalent to matriculation preparatory course). Upon the award of “the A” Level Certificate one is eligible to apply for entry into university courses in Europe, America, Australia, and Singapore, etc
Course Introduction
This school offers preparatory courses for foreign students who wish to join our local Polytechnics, provides them with intensive program to sit for the 'O' Level examination. Class sizes are small to facilitate teacher-student interaction.
Target Groups
Students ages ranged from 16 to 25 years old, who intend to gain admission into the local Polytechnics or foreign institutions of higher learning.
