Synopsis |

The course aims to achieve the following:

Develop the student's knowledge of business-related vocabulary;

Enhance business communication skills using practical formats based on actual business activities and transactions;

Improve understanding of the written language and its usage in day-to-day office communications and
Heighten awareness on various cultural issues (that may affect business practices) though cultural appreciation segments. |

Speaking and listening skills |

The course will improve the student’s understanding of different forms of business communications. He will be equipped with better comprehension skills, which will allow him to manage, display, interpret and reformulate information more effectively and efficiently. |

Reading and writing skills |

The course will fine-tune the student’s ability to understand and write English in the context of business topics. It will also acquaint him with general formats that are acceptable in business communications. He will be equipped with the confidence to write basic forms of office correspondences as well to utilize appropriate and accurate English expressions to meet the requirements of a given situation. |
