Course Introduction

Conversational Chinese consists of programmes at 3 different levels, namely, Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Level. The main aim is to help learners acquire listening and speaking skills with the language. All the programmes will be conducted by bilingual teachers from mainland China, who speak good Mandarin and have profound knowledge of the Chinese language as well as the Chinese culture. Learners can build up a vocabulary of up to 750 words after the advanced level .

Course Level

Course Level	Vocabulary	Suitable for
Basic	200 words	Students who have no or little knowledge of the Chinese language and wish to speak it within the shortest possible time
Intermediate	250 words	Students who can speak and understand some Mandarin and wish to go further in Mandarin study
Advanced	300 words	Students who can converse in simple Mandarin but wish to further develop their accuracy and fluency in speaking.
