  Terms and Conditions
For Full Time Courses (includes Refund Policies)
 
   
The student agrees to abide by the school rules and regulations. The School reserves the right to alter, or change any of the terms and conditions without informing he student when deemed necessary. The terms and conditions are as follows:
Students wishing to study at the school on a full-time basis will enter into a contract with the school namely the Standard Student Contract.
The School's refund policies are spelt out below:
1. Withdrawal for Cause: Subject to Clause 7, the Student shall be entitled to immediately withdraw from the Course by giving written notice to the PEO of his/her intention to do so under the following circumstances:
  1. the PEO fails, for any reason, to commence the Course on the Commencement Date;
  2. the PEO fails, for any reason, to complete the Course by the Completion Date;
  3. the PEO terminates the Course for any reason prior to the completion of the Course; or
  4. the PEO is in material breach of its obligations under this Agreement.

*Cambridge Institute reserves the right to delay the commencement of the programme or withdraw the programme in the event of such occurrence a full refund will be given.

   
2. Refunds for Withdrawal for Cause: The PEO shall, as soon as practicable after receiving the Student’s notice of withdrawal under Clause 2.1 (and in any event no more than fourteen (14) days after receiving such notice) refund to the Student:
  1. the entire amount of the Tuition Fees and Deposit; and
  2. the Non-Tuition Fees and/or Additional Fees*.
   
3. Withdrawal Without Cause and Refunds: Where the Student withdraws from the Course for any reason other than those set out in Clause 2.1 or Clause 7, the PEO shall, subject to Clause 3.4, as soon as practicable after receiving the Student’s written notice of withdrawal (and in any event no more than fourteen (14) working days after receiving such notice) refund to the Student the entire amount (100%) of the Deposit (less all such deductions which the PEO is entitled to make in accordance with Clause 1. 9 ) together with the following sums (less any applicable bank administrative charges properly paid / payable under Clause 3):
  1. TUITION FEE REFUND POLICY

    • Student Protection Scheme Fees (SPS)
      • This is NOT REFUNDABLE
    • Books/Material Fee
      • These are NOT REFUNDABLE
    • Additional Fee Refund policy
      • Fees that are payable directly to the varsity and other external parties or other government authorities as the case may be should be resolved between the relevant parties concerned.(i.e exam fees and membership fees).
4. Deemed Withdrawal: A Student who transfers from the Course to another course with the PEO shall, for the purposes of this Clause 2, be deemed to have withdrawn from the Course and the provisions of Clause 2.3 shall apply save as otherwise agreed between the PEO and the Student.

Transfers within Cambridge Institute
A transfer is define as a student completing a course with Cambridge Institute and moving on to another Cambridge Course. Students intend to charge course after commencement, shall be delt as a withdrawal (termination) of existing course and application for new course accordingly.

  • Upon application for a new course, subject to completion of existing course, Cambridge will assist them in transfering their existing valid Student Pass to a new valid Student Pass to be applied under the new course.
  • Students need to submit following documents to Cambridge before the expiry of the validity of Existing Student Pass.
    • ICA Forms
    • Passport
    • Student Pass
    • Highest educational certificate / Transcript (original in native & English version)
    • Student's attendance in the ICA forms to faciliate Student Pass transfer
Images/ photographs/ pictures of the students are deemed property of the school and may be used for publicity purposes at its sole discretion
