Cost of Living in Singapore
 

Expenses vary according to individual lifestyle and spending habits. An estimate of the possible basic expenditure is shown below. Accommodation rental per month ranges from S$250 per room (double occupancy) in public housing to about S$850 per room (single occupancy) in a private apartment. You should budget about $500 to $600 per month for food, transport, leisure, books, reading materials and other miscellanous needs.
